dinge vertel van Jesus: Hy is gebore as ‘n baba in

|
Die
Bybel leer vir my dat daar twee
soorte mense
Elkeen
Het
jy al ooit gevra: “Wie is Jesus?” Daar was eenkeer
neem.
Net
God kan mense gesond maak – Jesus is God.

Daar
Watter

Evangelize children with the Gospel Message so that they can believe in Jesus Christ. The unsaved child you need to "catch" like a fish with a hook and the saved child you need to teach wisely - like a shepherd with his "crook" so that they can grow spiritually. Only the Holy Spirit can work in the lives of children to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus and can help them to grow spiritually.

The Good News of Easter
“Good
news Jesus was born
Good
news He died on the cross
Good
news He rose again
Good
news He's coming back soon” Song by Sarah Moore
Easter
is a time of GOOD
NEWS:
With Easter we celebrate the good
news
that Jesus was born, that Jesus died on the cross, that He rose again
and that He is coming back soon.
Martin
Luther said: “Live
as if Jesus died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back
tomorrow”!
My
prayer is that God's children will experience the GOOD
NEWS
of the Gospel every day, that this Easter will be a wonderful Christ
Festival to us all and that we will be GOOD
NEWS
to other people!
We
hear so much bad news, that everyone longs for GOOD
NEWS!!
Easter
greeting: “The Lord has risen! He has risen indeed!!”
Charles
Spurgeon said: “We Christians do not believe that Jesus Christ was
the only one that ever rose from the dead. We believe that every
death-bed is a resurrection; that from every grave the stone is
rolled away.”
Child
Evangelism Fellowship has a Good News Song:
“Good
news, good news Christ died for me
Good
news, good news if I believe
Good
news, good news I'm saved eternally
That's
wonderful EXTRA good news.”
Make
sure that you believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour. How?
A.
Admit that you are a sinner and that you need a Saviour. - Rom.
3:23
B.
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. Joh. 3:16
C.
Commit yourself to the Lord and ask Him to forgive your sins and
make you His child. - Joh. 1:12

Eight Characteristics of a good T E A C H E R
Deut. 6:5-7: "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up."
To be a TEACHER to your children, you need to know the Word of God yourself, before you start to teach the Word of God. You need to know the Master Teacher, Jesus Christ, as your Saviour!
According to the Child Evangelism Fellowship Resource Edition of the Bible you need 8 characteristics to be a good teacher:
T - Teachable - You need teaching from the Bible by studying the Word or by listening to sermons about the Word, so that you can teach other people. You need to be teachable!
E - Enthusiastic - You need to be enthusiastic about the Word of God. Enthusiastic means to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that you can understand the Word of God and teach the Word of God correctly and with enthusiasm!
A - Approachable - people must not be afraid to approach you,! They must but have confidence to come to you with problems and questions.
C - Consecrated - You must give yourself fully to the Lord as a living sacrifice - Rom. 12:1
H - Honest - You must be honest before God and know your strengths and weaknesses and be honest about it. Confess your weaknesses to the Lord and other people.
E - Enduring - Persevere when things are difficult
R - Ready - Be prepared for your tasks as parent and teacher and sit at the feet of your Heavenly Father to get your wisdom from Him by Reading the Word and meditate on it day and night (Ps. 1)
S - Sensitive - Be sensitive to the needs of people around you and be sensitive to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life and the lives of other.

Problems children’s workers can face:
In 1995 Mr. Sam Doherty asked my husband to
sit at his desk in his office in Kilchzimmer, Switzerland with his head in his
hand and act out as if he is a children’s worker with problems. This photo was used on the cover of his
book “The problems of a children’s
worker and God’s solution.”
( You can download all Mr. Sam Doherty’s books
from CEF specialized Book Ministry)
Two weeks ago my husband, who turned 80 last
December, faced a tremendous health problem. We were all shocked to hear the
bad news, but we experience that the God that Dan and I proclaim in our
ministry, is faithful and gives us peace and direction. Dan wrote a letter to our family and friends:
“This letter is just to
bring you up to date with what is happening in our lives. On the 18th of February 2015 after a CT scan
I was diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer.
The bile duct from the
gallbladder was blocked because of the tumor
in the mouth of the pancreas and a stent was inserted into the duct on the 26th
of February, in order to widen th duct and allow the bile to flow again.
I came out of hospital
on Friday the 27th of February and for 2 days I felt very bad. I am regaining my strength slowly.
There
are specific times in one's life when specific Bible truths stand out all the
more clearly. During the last few days many such truths have come
strongly to the fore in my own life – God is Sovereign and in complete control
of my life and I can rest in that blessed assurance; God is faithful to His
promises and will never leave or forsake me and, the trials of life are given
as special times for the believer in Jesus Christ to declare the praises of Him
who has called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2.9)
We
are called to be lights in this world and I ask you to pray with me that ‘this
little light of mine’ will keep shining until the end.
Obviously
the light the believer has is only a reflection of the light that has been
poured out in his life. Paul makes it clear that this is only possible because
of God’s grace and likens it to the miracle of
creation itself in 2 Cor. 4.6: “For God, who said, ‘ Let light shine out of
darkness’, has shone in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the
glory in the face of Jesus Christ”.
David
is facing great trials but his first words in Psalm 27 are triumphant: “ The
Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The Lord is the
stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”
In
verse 4 he prays: “one thing I asked of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I
may dwell in the house of the LORD (in the presence of the LORD) all the days
of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.”
My
‘little light’ will keep on shining as I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, the
Author and Perfecter of our faith.” (Hebrews 12.2)
My
prayer is that my Saviour and Lord will be glorified in my life and death!
Once
again thank you for your love and prayers!
Thank you for the
fellowship in the Gospel we have enjoyed over may years.
Every Blessing
In Christ."
(My husband, Dan, died 4 months after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The Lord is giving grace to His children to overcome problems and face death and glorify the Lord in life and death!)

In Chapter 9
of Mr. Doherty’s book – “The problems of a Children’s worker and God’s solution”
he writes:
The
Results We Can Experience
A s we see God, know Him, focus our thoughts
on Him and worship Him what can we expect to happen in our lives? What does the
Bible teach?
We have
already seen most of the answers, but it will be helpful to summarize them and
revise them. I am not in a position, of course, to make promises or give
precise and absolute guarantees. But I am sure, from what we have already seen
and studied in the Word of God, that there are many blessings which God has
promised to those who know Him, and who then on the basis of that knowledge
obey Him.
This does not necessarily mean “success” and
the instant and immediate solution of the problem(s)—although it might. But it
does mean that God will, more and more, give strength and grace to overcome
failure and to handle problems, as we give Him His rightful place in our lives.
Knowing God Can Help Us in Our Prayer Life
The more we
know about God and the better we know Him, the more we will know to whom we are
speaking, and the more we will be able to trust Him for His answers.
All the
great men and women of the Bible, and the great “prayers” show a clear and deep
knowledge of the One to Whom they were praying.
May God help you with your problems. May you experience God’s grace everyday.
HE GIVETH MORE GRACE – by Annie
Johnson Flint
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure;
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.

Valentine's day - it is all about LOVE!
There is a song about
Jesus' love that is so wonderful:
Jesus' love is very wonderful (3x)
Oh
wonderful love!
It’s
so high you can't get over it,
So
low you can’t get under it,
So
wide you can’t get round it,
Oh,
oh wonderful love!!
May
you experience with Valentine’s day that Jesus’ love is the BEST LOVE that you can
dream of!!
Without the love of God
in your life, your week will be like this:
Sunday
will be a Sadday,
Monday
will be a Moanday,
Tuesday
will be a Tearsday,
Wednesday
will be a Wasteday,
Thursday
will be a Thirstday,
Friday
will be a Frightday,
Saturday
will be a Shatterday.
A little story to illustrate
love:
Norman was a good boy. He helped with the washing up and looked
after his
baby sister. He was a bright boy, too, and he noticed that when
other people
did things around the house for his mother, they sent bills and
got paid. For
example, after the plumber fixed the pipes he sent a bill for his
work and his
mother wrote a cheque to pay him.
Norman began to think, Why shouldn’t I get paid too? So one
morning Norman
laid a paper like this at his mother’s plate at breakfast time.
He tried to make it look as
much like the other bills he had seen. So he printed words like these:
Mother owes Norman
1. For washing the dishes
5 times …….…..….…… R10.00
2. For looking after baby
sister ….……..….……… R10.00
3. For going to the shop
…………….…..………… R10.50
4. For being a good boy
……….……….…………. R10.50
Total ………………………......…………………… R41.00
Norman’s mother sat down at the table and read what Norman had
written, but she didn’t even smile. She just laid it aside and ate her
breakfast. When Norman came in for supper that night there was a bill on his
plate! It read:
Norman owes mother
1. For 10 years of happy home ………………. nothing
2. For food and clothes for 10 years ……….. nothing
3. For nursing through chicken pox, flu.and measles nothing
4. For being good to him all his life ……….. nothing
Total ………......…………………………….. nothing
When Norman read it he felt bad! Big tears ran down his cheeks,
his lips
quivered and he ran to his mother’s arms and cried, “Mum, I love
you and I’ll
do all I can just because I love you. I don’t want any pay.”
What
children say about love:
"Love is when your puppy licks
your face even after you left him alone all day."
"I know my older sister loves
me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new
ones."
“If falling in love is anything like learning how
to spell, I don't want to do it. It takes too long”.
“Love is like an avalanche where you have to run
for your life.”
“I think you're supposed to get shot with an arrow
or something, but the rest of it isn't supposed to be so painful.”
“No one is sure why it happens, but I heard it has
something to do with how you smell. That's why perfume and deodorant are so
popular.”
“Love is the most important thing in the world, but
baseball is pretty good to”.
“Once I'm done with kindergarten, I'm going to find
me a wife.”
“On the first date, they just tell each other lies,
and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.”

Bible Reading plan
A Bible reading plan that I find very good, is this one from www.bible-reading. Start your devotions with a prayer of dedication and openness to the Bible message. Read the Bible passages for the day, think about the words. What do you read about our Triune God. Pray the Word back to God and worship and praise Him. Ask the Lord to help you to live according to His Will. Write down your dialogue with your Father. Write down your supplications and thank God for prayers that He answers!
