There are 66 books in the Bible.
God used 40 men to write the Bible
There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New
Testament
To find where the books in your Bible are, look for the index or Table
of Content in front of your Bible – there you will find the page numbers.
The first book of the Old Testament is Genesis and the last book of the
Old Testament is Malachi.
The first book in the New Testament is Matthew and the last book in the
New Testament is Revelation.
The book right in the middle of the Bible is Psalms.
Write down on a board or paper a few verses that the children can find
in the Bible, especially in the 5 books that you showed them: Genesis, Malachi, Psalms, Matthew and
Revelation.
