1.
Gold
tells us that we have a Creator God who lives in Heaven. He made everything, including man. He is our King and reigns over all. He is a holy God who hates sin and He is also a God of love – John 3:16
2.
The dark
colour (black) reminds us that people are sinners. We are born in sin because we do, say or
think things that are against God’s will.
Romans. 3:23 says we are all sinners.
Sin separates us from God and makes it impossible for sinners to go to
heaven.
3.
The red colour tells us what the solution to our sin-problem is. God has to punish sin and He did that once
and for all by sending His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for our sins on a cross, He was
buried and rose again after three days to show us that He had victory over
Satan and sin. 1 Corinthians. 15:3-4. He
gave his life willingly to pay the full price so that we can become free from
sin.
4.
The clean
colour (white) tells us that all our sins can be washed away, if we believe
in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We have
to admit that we are sinners, confess our sins and put our trust in Jesus as
our Saviour. John 1:12
5.
The blue colour tells us that the Holy Spirit starts living in us the
moment we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He dwells in us and teaches us how to
live. When we sin again, the Holy Spirit
helps us to immediately confess our sins, He guides us to walk the right paths
and He shows us how to become more and more like the Lord Jesus Christ. The
Holy Spirit controls our life when we believe in Jesus - Romans. 8:9
6.
The green colour says as a child of God, we have a task to fulfill on
earth. We have to grow spiritually. How does that happen? 1. By reading the Bible – God’s Word. 2. By
praying to God, my Heavenly Father 3. By
witnessing to other people and tell them to put their trust in Jesus Christ 4. By confessing sins 5. By attending an Evangelical church with other
believers. 2 Peter 3:18
May the Lord help you
to be a witness and lead other people to Christ with the colours of the South
African flag.
EVANGELISEER
MET DIE SES KLEURE VAN DIE SUID-AFRIKAANSE LANDSVLAG:
(CEF se woordlose boekie plus blou kleur)
1.
Hy is ‘n Heilige
is.
geplaas is. Ons moet ook geestelik
groei. Hoe gebeur dit?
sondig. 5. Deur saam met gelowiges ‘n Evangeliese kerk
by te woon.
Mag die Here vir jou
