Karaktereienskappe van die Bybel/ Characteristics of Bible

Bestudeer die karaktereienskappe van God se Woord (die Bybel) met jou kinders en kleinkinders en wys hul dat die Woord van God betroubaar is en vra dat die Heilige Gees hul moet verander as hul die Bybel lees. 

Waarsku hul om nie kerkleiers te volg wat nie glo dat die Bybel die Woord van God is nie!

Effektief	Jesaja 55:11	God se Woord is effektief en bereik wat God daardeur wil bereik
Ewig (onvernietigbaar)	Jeremia 36:32	God se Woord is onvernietigbaar – Baruk het weer alles oorgeskryf wat Jeremia gedikteer het na verbranding van vorige boekrol
Inspirerend	2 Timoteus 3:16	God se Woord is deur die Heilige Gees geïnspireer en verander lewens
Lewend, kragtig en deurdringend	Hebreers 4:12	God se Woord deurdring die bedoelings en gedagtes van die hart
Staan vir ewig	Matteus 5:18	God se Woord sal bly staan tot alles voleindig is
Hou my in stand	Ps. 119:92	God se woord help my staan in tye van ellende
Vertroostend	Job 23:10-12	Heg  waarde aan God se woorde want hulle vertroos jou soos hulle vir Job vertroos het
Waardevol	2 Timoteus 3:16-17	God se woord is waardevol en help jou om die regte lewenswyse uit te leef
Waarheid	John 17:17	Jesus se gebed vir Sy kinders is dat ons toegewy moet wees aan God se Woord omdat dit die waarheid is

 

 Study the characteristics of the Bible with your children or grandchildren and show them that they can trust the Bible and read it and ask the Holy Spirit to transform their lives as they read the Word of God. Warn them not to follow Church leaders or “believers” who do not believe that the Bible is the Word of God!

Stands forever	Matthew 5:18	Everything in the Word of God will be fulfilled before heaven and earth pass away
True	John 17:17	Jesus prayed that His disciples should be sanctified by the truth of the Word
